blurred vision on a diet

As an obese teenager, I went with my mom to Siddha samadhi yoga. There we had to shift to eating raw vegetables. In a couple of days, I had blurred vision. Looking at a presentation at undergrad college, I had to close one eye and focus with the other to make sense of what I was seeing. Now I know its got to do with glucose levels during low carb diet.

Now I am open to eating carrot, cucumber, lettuce for lunch.
A friend had chipotle lunch at her house for her birthday. The food minus the tortilla and rice was so friendly for low carb diet.

Weight confessionals

I was once Obese.

I was once obese too for a long time, most of my teen-hood  When you live with obesity that long you don't think of thin until it happens. In the above article, the author confesses to the obscene diet. I too had followed such a crazy diet where a white chocolate mocha would do it for lunch, a chocolate chip waffle was gold. You can live on air too if fat is sliding off you like you are on a rotisserie.

This time around, I am trying a saner method of muscle way. I am puzzled with the numbers on the scale but I can feel the flab tightening, inches decreasing. The time not being too long is easy to fit into the schedule with baby. Never mind that she wants to think of me as a hurdle to crawl over while I am exercising. And did I feel sweat trickle on my back. Thats not me. I drink some water after exercise. Well thats not me either.
